xs fun if you look at some of the custom front ends out there I have seen them where the post is changeable. meaning one front end fits most all frames. check out the aftermarket harley clowns the might have something.

i am building back end kits right now to hold stock, 200, and 250 rear wheels. I am also just finishing up a back end with a monoshock and suspended seat. Any who. i run a springer on my bike by using the stock shaft that comes with it. i use the new 650 tapered neck bearing races, and the 1" tapered bearings that come with the front end. i have had no problem with this set up. And to buy them, i get them from out law cycle products on ebay. $350. stores.ebay.com/Outlaw...e-Products
2" under is what will fit a stock xs and give you the same ground clearance.

noodleeville11, is that a DNA springer, or a different brand. How is it treating you if it is DNA. I've heard bad things about them, ie: they arent straight, they dont track right, the welds are bad etc etc.

It is a DNA. I have had no problems with it so far. But I have also not had too many miles on it. As far as straight, it seems to be. Welds have not broken yet. But I did mess with the adjustment in it. I am a heavier guy so I messed with the tension so that I could get a good ride out of it. Also tire size and pressure makes a huge difference in the way a springer rides.
