I am such a moron.
I shaved my beautiful air box to fit a briggs and stratton filter, not the filter that is cut in 1/2 and fitted in. That would be smart. Anyway I cut the thing only to find that the briggs and stratton still didn't fit. it crushed ...
So, I need the box and filters for 82 special, and the bracket that fits it ti the frame and to the battery box etc.
Anyone has one.
Thanks a million to all ... posting and fessing up seems to have made this stupid act a bit more bearable.
I was 5 mins away from running down the road on a bike that has for this whole century sat without spark plugs under a tree. This mistake and the fact that my chain has 108 links ... and the wheel wont move cos the axle it just spinning ... it twisted an allen wrench into a pretzel, and broke the hardened punch off ... so I am blaming the PO for that one.
Anyway I will attempt a run without filters and the floppy chain tommorow but refrain from doing much stupid sheite.
Help me out guys.

I have all the air box and filter parts. I took them off earlier this year to run pod filters on my bobber. I can get you pics tommorrow. I was thinking $10+shipping. Not trying to make money just fund my project. Might have other parts you need too. just let me know and maybe we can work something out. Also interested in trades.

No need for pics, you say they're good and I wont complain for 10 bucks. How is the filter ?
What trades ? I dont have XS parts really, cos I been in this bike just the last 2 months ... but I got jets and stuff a plenty. Though you would have to tell me the size ...
