Home Made Brat Seat For Next To Nothing

OK, here's the skinny on my new seat: made it in about 4 hours - easy as falling off a log. The pan was easy to make - just laid a bed of duck tape over the seat frame and built the fiberglass pan over that. Trimmed the pan and built the padding up in layers, filling in gaps over the irregular surface of the pan.

aterials:

leftover fiberglass cloth and resin from auto body work (free),
one old biker jacket with cool checkered flag pattern ($3 from Goodwill)
duck tape ($3)
padding from exercise mat ($5)
Silicone seal ($4)
Black belt to secure seat on frame ($2 at Goodwill)

Got frustrated waiting for MikesXS to get their seats in so...here it is:

Not bad....looks more like a Brat Style seat than a cafe'racer, but still pretty cool.
