I working on a '75 650B.Going for a little looks and comfort. I've replaced all the lights. All lights work, charging works. I moved the igniton to under right turn signal on the frame. Problem is the red wire from switch gets so hot can't touch it. Any ideas? Thanks

you're pulling to much current somewhere check your ground wires

Remove the tool bag from the forks. That is where the air to cool the head comes from. The bag blocks the air flow and the engine is slowly burning up.

i don't think the tool bag would have anything to do with the wiring heating up try disconnecting different circuits o find out where the current draw is, turn signals then the lamps in the gauges - headlight - taillight - ignition can all be indiviually separated, even a dirty main switch could be the problem just jumper red to the light brown to test it red/yellow is starter circuit
