dose anyone know if it is posible to install tapered neck bearings in a 72? if so where can i get them? how much will they rake?

Seager cycle makes about any combination you want you just have to know the inner dimensions of your neck, Ive put these on harley's and honda's im sure they will go on to a yamaha

There is a kit available that anyone that has parts unlimited can order for you

putting in the tapered roller bearings wont change the rake, just make the front end work better. i put in the set from mikes in my 75. vast improvement in handling.

I didn't notice the rake comment- there are offset race sets available out there for some bikes but I doubt if anyone makes some for the XS.
