HAS ANYONE TRIED TO WEDGE ANY OTHER MOTOR INTO THIS FRAME?

I WAS THINKING OF A NORTON 850
I KNOW MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE TO BE FABRICATED.
JUST EARLY THOUGHT PROCESS

Now just why would you stick a Brit motor on a Japanese chassis? Are you looking to enter a Worst of Both Worlds competition? Got any idea how hard that big Norton motor shakes once it comes out of the Isolastic mounts?

you must be crazy..the Norton lumps a piece of s***t ! Ive had a couple,twice bitten - ten times shy !!

Kyle......Check ebay for the few Norton parts and then gasp at the prices..........Don't want to sit on the end of one of those horns do ya.........

OK THEN WHAT ELSE WOULD ANYONE SUGGEST TO WEDGE INTO THIS XS FRAME. I HAVE HEARD OF WEDGINF AN XS MOTOR INTO A KAWASAKI F SERIES FRAME LIKE A 400 KZ. THE RESULTS LOOK GREAT IT WAS IN LAST MONTHS CLASSIC MOTTORCYCLE MECHANIC. I WANTED TO HAVE SOME FUN AND TRY SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
