I may be stumped. Hopefully (probably) someone can help me. I'm not a complete newbie to engine work but can stand to learn some things.

Here's the issue. Recently re-ringed my cylinders. (They mic'd out fine - honed them and put back together.) Adjusted the valves. Everything was fine. Got about 200 miles on her and she started running real crappy. Checked compression and had lost compression on the right cylinder. Like an idiot, didn't check the valve clearances. Tore engine out and top end apart. Cylinders were fine. Realized at this point that the valves on the right cylinder had tightened up - read "no gap". ARGHHHH!!!!! Live and learn right?

Put her back together. Checked everything - looked good. Started her up and she only runs on Left Cylinder. Compression on both cylinders is about 130. Valves are gapped at .15 outlet and .10 inlet. I'm getting spark on both sparkplugs, albeit weeker on right. My question is, did I get the cam off by a tooth? Or, do you have other suggestions? Before I tear her apart again, I figured I'd risk proclaiming my ignorance on here.

Any help is appreciated. I'm just about fed up.......

just a shot in the dark. My 75' seemed to be doing the same thing(only running on one cylinder) and a friend suggested gapping the plug a little wider till I got a good blue spark and damn if it didn't work. Give it a try.
