The snow banks are gone from around my '75 xs. Up here in Bismarck ND. I untarped the bike yesturday (no garage), I took off a little winter crud off the bike, put in the battery, pushed the choke down and pushed the button. I don't think it made a full revelution and it was running. I worked on the bike last summer on weekends outside never got to ride it.
After changing the lights, air cleaners, mufflers, seat and exhaust. I rejetted the carbs. The pictures don't have the new mufflers on.
The only thing I could find wrong was I needed to adjust rear brake, put in new shoes they seated now. I put on 30 miles around town then went to the highway, got it to 55 mph but my eyes were watering to much 60 degress f.
With the mufflers it sounds more like my neighbors Triumph They are 1ft long they look like old Cherry Bombs on the in side. It is loud, hope the cops stay away.
Same temp today going again. Everybody ride safe and have fun.
