Well.......from my experience with the stock cams is that they are pretty much advanced to the very limit....this gives them low end......for all the crazies that want to rev these pressed crank engines to death you could try retarding the stock cam 2 degrees to make them rev better....cost would be 0.............that would be .020 thousands as measured at the boss where the sprocket is pressed on..........so looking on the left side of the cam where the notch is.... the sprocket would be slightly rotated clockwise (.020) on the cam and repressed on.......marking it's original location beforehand of course........

Just fitted a Trost mild cam (Had to replace my cam as it had damage were one cam seal Sate & always had a oil leak)
So have now replaced cam with a mild Trost cam & fitted Porsche elephant feet to rockers
Question would the rocker tappet setting still be the same settings as with old tappets?????????????
I see with some other cams they advise a new setting.????????????

Wally, you should get advice from the maker....I would probably go on the loose side of std setting if you need to come up with your own setting. Maybe just try a loose 004" & 006". Any idea what the actual grind is?

Wally you can usually stop a cam seal leak by using a larger spring like from a fork seal........shorten it to the same length...bend the ends out so they hook together and put the connection on top.......
