Well, it happened again. I lost my left side cover, as my left pod filter apparently vibrated loose, coming off and taking the side cover with it. I've replace the air filter, but have no side cover. To be fair, the original side covers weren't in the best shape, and partially held together with Gorilla glue, etc Very Happy So now I'm looking to fabricate in some fashion some metal side covers I could paint to match, and have them attach in some fashion to the frame instead of the way the originals fitted. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I'd love to make the bike into a bobber someday, but that day isn't right now unfortunately, so it's mostly original. And I'd rather not spend the money @ MikesXS (no offense Mike) for a set....

I may have a spare out in the garage. I'll have to see if I have a left or right side without a mate. Yours if you pay shipping. You may have to paint it to match yours, but....
PM me.

I have a set of covers that as I remember were in good shape. They were repainted a blueish green color. Would sell for $25.00 & S&H. OR TRADE FOR A FRONT WHEEL HUB.
build them , ride them, tear them down, rebuild them, ride them, etc. etc. etc.. They only get better and better
