I'm new to buiding a chopper/bobber. I did own an xs650 chopper when i was in highschool, but i did not build it. I have recently baught a 76 xs650. I would like to know is what is the stock rake. Thanks MIKE

Sorry I was drinking last night Embarassed . Yes i am looking for stock rake. I was thinking of changing it to about 38 degrees. I already purchased the bike,but its not here yet. I'm just doing some research on what i am going to do. Thanks in advance Mike

I believe the stock rake is 25 degrees , from what I see by builders comments 36 should be max with out running into troubles.

My factory manual says 27 degrees, but actual measurements on 6 of my frames is 27-28 degrees...
