Was wondering if someone with a rear disc brake XS hardtail chopper, who is running mid-controls, could post a pic (or 2 or 3) of how you set up your brake lever and footpegs.
I notice most of the rear disc brake chops I see are running forwards. Wondering if this is cuz there is a more natural mounting point up there for the brake pedal.
Am thinking of using those "slab" pieces (actually box section) from the stock rear section of the old frame that the brake pedal and footpegs attached to. Thinking of cutting those pieces off the old frame at the top and bottom and ATTACHING them to the hardtail frame in approx the same location, so I can use the stock brake pedal pivoting point and mounts for master cyl, res. etc. And maybe even the el-weirdo stock footpegs.
Would have to do it some clean way.
Anyway, if someone would be so kind as to post up a pic or 2 of a rear disc, mid control, XS hardtail...that would be great and I'd really appreciate it!
thx!

It looks very nice. If you get a chance, put up a picture of the whole bike?

They got 'em, you just have to call. I have been waiting to see some good pics. I heard G&L is working on some. They will probably post pics as soon as theirs are available. G&L will most likely will get my business as soon as they are ready. I already have their hardtail and that thing is tits.

Emzdogz: ive been stalking posts similar to yours on a couple of forums. no one really seems like sharing that info.
the closest thing ive seen is on xs650chopper.com.
there is a bike post called "Run for Your Life build off winner" that has pics that can be enlarged quite a bit in firefox ... its the only place ive seen a clear set of mid controls so far.
