standard versus chop

[b]Hey guys
quick question on the opinion on a chop job , i just spent the better part of a day adding 6 inch to my stock swing arm so i could keep the soft ride , but after putting it back on bike noticed alot of open area since the wheel had been moved back.My first idea was to just chop the ass end and create a chopper or bobber but wasnt sure i could pull it off, so i went with this first , i need help guys on wheather to leave it or actually go ahead with the chop. My question i guess is what do u guy as a group think i need to do ,

6 inches is a lot, 3 or 4 inches would be the norm , but thats ok I am sure it will still look good , you could use a fat fender and take up some of that space, check out this one in progress just posted a couple days ago by someone doing the same.

Take a look at joewiseguy's chops. He uses a lot of extended swingarms.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! a 6 inch extension with a stock round tube swing arm is alot,talk about flex city,you need to chop it back to three and move the swing arm center brace out to with in a inch or close enough for wheel removal,that'll add rigidity to the mid section and add a under brace to the arm................jack

its not still the same tube style i install solid bar inside and welded , so far its heavier but no flex that i see .....................and dones anyone know how to find joewiseguy's chops i have searched and still havent found anything on them or him ................
