Does anyone have a cdi unit for sale.I need one for an 83 Heritage Special.The #'s on mine are as follows TID12-03

Check ebay. This one is a bit pricy. 140008820947 Yours is 7 wire I believe. One for the sidestand. Read somewhere that the six wire will work with some mod to the connector. The cdi may have a solder joint in side the black box. See other posts if this is the case.

i think i have a cdi...i just baught a 83 heritage for parts...the bike was dumped....it worked great before he dropped it...not sure on a price yet.

83 special I shipped one out to you about 3 weeks ago now. Did it not work?
