I would love to know about that frontend and how you got it to fit. Narrow is awsome.

yea i'm pretty stoked on it...i'm trying to keep the bike 60's lane-splitter style so running this front end saved me some time as the orginal plan was to narrow down a dna springer...only thing with this setup is i'll have to swap the neck shaft out for a stock xs unit...that and the risers were cast as part of the upper tree so if i don't end up finding some good 7/8 bars i'll have to have them lathed out for 1 inchers...

update...got the frame in some satin black and managed to stuff the motor in by myself while the wife and kids were sleeping...spent last night pulling the carbs off my parts bike and cleaning them up enough to throw on the proj...next will be getting the clutch and kickstart unit in...

Very cool!! Love the frontend. Is it fitted right now?? If so was it just a bearing swap or a machined stem?

why don't you just have Front Street make you some? He doesn't charge that much and quality is top notch.

i definitely can't argue that...haven't had the chance to see them live, but judging by the pics all his stuff looks badass...
on a side note, got my trees back today...guy did an awesome job and didn't ding me nearly as bad as i thought he would...even tossed in a deadly little headlight bracket that with a little cleaning up should be ready for chrome...now i just have to wait for my surprise guests to get lost so i can scurry into the garage for some assembly

thanks man...axle adjusters are just some threaded half round bungs welded onto the axle plates...seems like they should do the trick, they're similar to the ones the G&L guys are running except mine are face mounted...

also wanted to get some feedback from you guys on the tail light i was thinking of running...whether or not its feasible or if its going to come flying off the second i kick the bike over...this is my first bike build so i'm not exactly sure what to expect as far as vibration is concerned...figured the mounting would be pretty sound, couple holes tapped into the axle cap with some loctite on em...or am i just wasting my time?
