Ok I have a new emergency -
I broke my adjustable front fork tube cap on my 81.
You know the aluminum O ringed plug that seals the ends of fork tubes near the handlebars?
It has a large screw in the middle to adjust the firmness of your forks.

I have two, they aren't pretty, but they work. They came off a fork set I bought just for the tubes as mine were bent. Let me know where to send them and they are yours.
