I have a person who's going to cut, sew, and install the vinyl for my cafe bike's bumstop seat, but we need to locate some seat foam to pad it with. I've done a fair amount of googling so far and haven't had much luck. Most of the hits I've come up with are using thin sheets. I'd like to find the stuff in large hunks so it can be carved to fit. I suppose I can call a local auto upholstery shop, but my first choice was to search online. Feeling lazy, I guess. So, know of any sources?
Best,
Michael

I saw a guy on another forum use a exersise mat he got from wal-mart with good results, he just cut it and layered it to the thickness he desired. Not sure if that is what your looking for but just throwing it out there. David

Hey Pall, thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for! I wonder why google didn't pick it up.
Best,
Michael

sleeping pads at walmart are really cheap. I've got some foam at fabric shops as well. you could also cut up an old stock seat.

I've made a bunch of seats and the best i've found was this high end carpet padding, it comes in a green color stack 5 pieces spray adhesive in between sheets shaped and your good to go, stuff is wicked comfortable cheap and firm(holds its shape great.
