Hi

I have just picked up a 1977 XS650 engine as I want to start a new rebuild project for my son.

Thinking of making it a cafe Racer, Only have basket case engine at this point but looking for more parts

Any suggestions on were I can pick up cafe parts or anything else

Thanks
Wally

some ideas "glass from the past" has some fiberglass items for use with the cafe. you can try "omars" he has some sutff. you can use parts from other rides and make your own. if you are looking for race parts alloy, try google "guzzino" they are a moto guzzi site but some cool stuff. you can try steve carpenters website "cb750 cafe". there are tons of stuff out there there are a few groups the kansas city cafe racers they use honda as there main ride but. body parts swap with a little work and imagination. I just type in cafe racer or the like in google and start from there. get ideas and ask questions. that's how I built mine

cheers

I have a 72 frame and fork. The fork is severely pitted I also have a front 18" wheel and rotor and a rear 18 wheel and rotor. The rear I think is off an SR. Dont have pics but the parts are in rough condition. Could easily be cleaned up though other than the fork tubes.
