Hi there,
I was curious as to what size rims people are using on their cafe projects?
I was thinking about lacing up a 18 inch rear rim to my front hub to run 18's front and rear. Alloy front and rear with powder coated rims and hubs(black).
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Billy

That would be a great idea. I was told most people stay with the 19" front, and omars has a kit you can put a 19" front on the rear. either way would be a great way to go. Would give you a good balanced bike.

Up front Ive got an 18" rear rim laced to an XS1 front drumbrake/hub.
It hasnt affected handling or the speedo accuracy. It give you a wider choice of tyres too!

Thanks guys,
Appreciate the input. It will be 18's front and rear then, using the stock front disk and hub. Now I just need to find a second alloy wheel.
Anyone know stock rim widths/
Thanks,
Billy

If you are looking for a stock (flanged) rear 18" alloy rim I have an extra if your interested. Stock rear rims are 2.15" wide, stock fronts are 1.85" wide.
