Here we go everyone. My cousin came by last night and started ripping in to my cafe project. We worked for about an hour in the dark and got a fair amount of stuff stripped off.

I got the tank I'm going to use and have the tail section on order. I just threw the tank on for perspective, but after some easy work I think it'll mount up real nice.

I have an 18" rear from a 74, can't wait to loose the 16".

I have also been considering using a drag bar instead of clubmans. I know clubmans will look a lot better, but I want to make sure I have plenty of leverage. If anyone has a good idea on that let me know.

I still have a lot of work left, so I'll post as much as I can in the mean time.

Here's a before and after so far.

Tail section came in today. I got it from cafeseat.com, it's the medium size model ( www.cafeseat.com/Mediu...eSeat.html ). It was $125 which included a molded seat pan that allows you to cover only the pan and it fits right over top of the tail section.

I choose this one because I like how it comes together in the rear.

The good:
It's nice and solid.
I like how it looks.
Good price for both pieces.
Overall it's very even.

The bad:
The finish leaves a little to be desired, some scratches in the makers final coat and a few shallow grooves in the fiberglass itself. It will need work before it gets painted.

Overall I'm happy with it, I didn't expect to just be able to paint it right out of the box.

Anyways, here's a few pics.

That leading edge on the side shot is not nearly as uneven as it looks in the picture.

CB200t. It's straight and clean inside, about all I could ask for.
