Two XS750 tanks for sale...

Well, Ive come to the conclusion my Caf racer project isnt going to be built..Its just not my thing , I had them years ago & could never get used to the riding position (I'm too tall, prefer chops/bobbers) so Im flogging both my 750 tanks if anyones intrested..Probably only of intrest to UK or Euro members ..

No mate, I sold that one..Both these are 'standard' XS750..£35 each if anyones intrested

You could probably identify it by looking at XS750s for sale on e-bay. There's always a few of 'em on there. The grey one you've got looks to me like it came off a '77-D, but I couldn't say for sure.

God, I hope its a phase but I just dont get the time to work on them as I always have ,+ a lack of money - 4 kids , 2 cars on a self-imposed 3-day week(looking after my youngest) Im seriously contemplating flogging at the very least two XS projects + a 400-4 and a Kwack 500 that all need work on or maybe my main XS to fund the rebuilds..Its a tough one... Crying or Very sad

Well, that certainly is a full plate.I guess a little cash flow never hurts, but sometimes the sacrifice is allot greater. I know ,for me, that a ride after a very hard day usually perks thing's up.Maybe the 400 & the Kwack ,or one of the other two would help.It is definitely a tough one. I also feel that a tall gent as yourself having a hard time on a Cafe, & the one your on now seems like it could be a bother/uncomfortable for a long stretch of road.Well, I hope that you get your answer's, & have a pint on us, as myself would miss hearing from the other side of the pond.

Well, a decision of sorts ..
Cafracer is off the list due to my height.
The Kwack & Honda are going. (no intrest at all)
Im sticking engine from my running XS into one of the projects to sell complete to pay off debts Rolling Eyes

.. I never felt this motor was 'right' somehow . Rolling Eyes

Rebuild one of my spare motors over the winter to re-install (only rings & gaskkets needed)
Keep one other long-term XS project..(hardtail eventually)
Keep the Sachs 800 as an everday bike .for now Rolling Eyes

Thats the plan ...Today anyhow... Smile
