Have to say, money I spent on xsjohn's custom needles was money well spent.
I've got an 83 w/ Mac 2-1 exhaust, pod filters and BS34 carbs. I messed around for months trying to get it to run like it should.
Dropped these needles in and went back to stock jets. WOW, night and day difference. She runs like a champ now. But wait there's more...
xsjohn isn't some half a#sed ebay'er who takes your money and never talks to you again. xsjohn has been in daily contact w/me to ensure I was/am satisfied. He makes these needles custom and follows through to make sure the customer is happy. Even sent me some different shims to try just because he wanted me to be 100% satisfied.
xsjohn is a stand up guy and his product won't disappoint. If you have BS34s PM xsjohn.

As one of the first "guinnea pigs" for john's needles I must say - and have said all along - these things kick on the road - feels like a turbo charger on the highway. I look down and I think I have throttle for about 45 - 50 and I am actually doing 65!
He has definately been with me all the way on this trip - tweaking here and there all along the way. I got daily messages from him seeing how the latest tweak worked.
y final package was - all jets back to stock - idle mix out at about 3 on each side - john's needles and a whole lot of of varooom!
