Looking realy good!!
Have you thought of using a larger engine sprocket to give a bit more clearance?

Good idea Razar, an 18t might get him up off that rub block. You Aussies are pretty shrewd.
(not to mention that the one shown in the pics is worn plumb out)

what kind of swing arm is that and how did you get the shock to mount to the original frame?? I am looking to do a mono coversion but I have a SECA II and a yz600 swing arm I really like the way they look but I want more of a bobber look then a cafe...

I think those are my headpipes? I made a set of headpipes custom just like that for someone a while back who wanted to run a 2into1 muffler under the bike, you must be that guy? Scott

I think the chain rubbing on the nylon rubbing blocks won't be a problem when riding, your wieght will compress the suspension enough for clearance. Your muffler may hit on a hard bump.

hey yes they are your pipes i commented on your build about how i thought you built my pipes, thanks by the way. they turned out great. and the swing arm is just stock i can't remember what year but it is 2 inches longer than the 75 and i just had tube bent and welded to make it how it is now. i can take more detailed photos if you would like. lets hope i dont go curb hoping anytime soon to hit that muffler.

Whitexk,
This is a very good example of showing how you have done this build with pics from the start..........This makes the bike look awesome.
This is not a criticism in any way but my concern is the weld where the strut comes down and joins the swing arm on the right side near the axle. The weld looks like it hasn't penetrated real well. If it was me i would grind back and check then re weld and the bracket above it, I assume it is the caliper stabilizer

thanks for the detailed pics... they are great... not a bad idea for as far as keeping the stock arm, I really like the way this is gonna turn out... I will let you know what I decide to do with mine, how thick was the tubing that you had bent up?

hey guys sorry i had a little set back but i think i came up with a better design inspired by my new bike. i am going to run a solo seat with the rear upholstered.
something like this, now i need to learn how to do fiberglass work.

Man, I can't wait to see this thing finished! I love it.
I'm doing a monoshock conversion myself, using the shock off from an 89(?) Ninja 900, although I'm doing the bike in a bobber style.
Awesome stuff. Keep it coming!

Echo. With deference to the stunning workmanship and concept, using a rare '73 as a platform is not the route I'd have taken, but to each his own. Beautiful work, though.
