My mind's made up on the mufflers. I picked up a very nice XSB exhaust (headpipes and mufflers) in better than average shape for a GREAT price....less than that single muffler sold for on ebay. I AM g ... |

Do you have any idea how rare a nice set of XS650B exhaust are? I'm sure gonna use them and not gonna modify them.
Maybe I should just have the head cleaned and valves lapped? |

I have a good running '78 engine with broken fins on the head. I plan on using it in my '75 stock rebuild.

And working on the wiring. He's using a combination of the bobber wiring diagram, factory diagram and a custom diagram done by none other than Pamco Pete himself.
The bike will still use the factor ... |

The wheels are painted and the lips lightly polished, sort of a satin sheen on the lips. |

To make room under the tank for all the wiring, he welded on a small piece of box tubing. To that, he added a small section of round tube to hold the 1-2 cable connector for the carbs.

Moving the rear fender and battery box required a mild modification to the seat. He's already dropped the pan off with our leather guy. Hope to have it back soon.

Sounds OK to me. Replace any seals/repair leaks, change the oil, set the points.
The Pamco is way worth it.
It's my understanding that torque cones are for larger exhaust on (usually) worked engin ... |
