soaking a chrome fender in muratic acid will strip all the chrome off, then just prime and paint

i love all things 650, possibly the choppers and bobbers the most, but it is a little sad that you'll be chopping one that looks to have been in such good condition to begin with.

im in california and ive never had to have a bike inspected so long as you got a title to something. if you have some paperwork, id call it good. why make more paperwork?

i had similar problems with a 78 engine im running, after upgrading to the pamco the bike ran great for a day and then started pissing oil out the right pipe. tore it down and was told the right cyli ...

i discovered today that my honda rebel shocks are being rubbed by the chain. love the way they lowered the bike but now i have one more bug to work out. looks like if i just grind a flat spot there ...

all i painted was the jugs and i used stove paint. looks fantastic and i have no doubt it will hold up just fine. if it needs freshening later it will be a piece of cake, easiest part of my project.

i can only speak for myself, but so far as handle bar switches go i only have two. left-off-right for the turn signals and hi-off-low for the headlight. i got the switches at radio shack for 3 bucks ...
