that was the thought. Figured since we were talking about springers, I would see if anyone had seen an XS done that way. I am still debating whether to restore or bob my 78.

you will need the tapered neck bearing set that mikesxs sells, and 1" tapere trailer bearings from what I have read. Basically use only the bearing races from mikes set.

I tried the stock flasher, but they didn't draw enough to get it to flash. Just buzzed a bit. I would think you could pick up a universal flasher from an auto parts shop and rig that to work though. ...

Definately fatter. I believe the swingarm is also 2" longer than the one on my TX. I believe they extended the XS650 swingarm in 74

Thanks man. Took this past week or so off to turkey hunt, but will be hitting it full force this weekend. If all goes well, I should have some running videos by next week!!
